Jane and Mr. Rochester first meet each other when Jane goes to Hay and runs into Mr. Rochester and she is kind enough to help him with his injury. Later, Jane realizes Mr. Rochester is in charge of Thornefield Hall and he comes to visit and ends up staying there. When Mr. Rochester and Jane first talk in Thornfield Hall, Mr. Rochester is quite rude to Jane and makes his visit some what uncomfortable. Later, they are drawn to each other and develop a form of relationship/friendship. Mr. rochester finds Jane interesting and wants to get to know more about her and the way she thinks, while Jane also want to know more about his past and admits to herself that she finds him handsome.
Mr Rochester, as head of Thorn field, seems a bit lonely, and that may be what draws him to her. Jane has a minor crush on Mr R, and she also is looking for adventure in his dull new life
Jane and Mr.Rochester both have tragedies in their lives and this may bring them together. Also, since Jane didn't know many people in her life any one who befriends her she attaches to very fast and they become very important to her.
The fact that Jane and Mr. Rochester have had great difficulty in there life draws them together. They leo are drawn together since they have some what of a similar personality.
Both Rochester and Jane are both lonely people. Their Loneliness brings them together because they cam find companionship in each other.
