The rest of the year...

3/15/2019

Hello everyone!  I thought it might be helpful for you to have an idea of what the rest of the year in LA 12 is going to look like.  These are the major things we are going to do between now and June 6th:
  • You are going to write a short story about a hero of your own creation.  Your story will focus on one phase of the Hero's Journey.
  • We are going to read The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
  • You will write a synthesis essay about heroism in The Road and a myth of your choice.
  • Senior Exploration Project- more details to come, but this is something that all LA 12 classes are doing.  You will have a range of projects to choose from.
