  • Re-write "I am" as metaphor/image.
  • Work on "I am" poem

I can write about myself with figurative language.
  • Get your name tag from the front of the room.
  • Turn in your signed syllabus sheet.
  • I am Poems- look at examples and discuss the importance of the "I am" statement.
  • Work on poems
